Today in our history, if you were to show a picture of a fascinator hat to a person on the street and ask them to "name a well known person who wears these" 9 times out of 10 they would say Kate Middleton. Or as she is now called The Dutchess of Cambridge. She has put her "stamp" on these hats, as did Jackie Kennedy did with The Pillbox Hat many years ago.
